Diana is an undergraduate student at UAM Xochimilco (Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana). In collaboration with Brenda Hernández Hernández, she is investigating the maturation timing of the vascular system in climbing ferns and their self-supporting counterparts within Lygodiaceae and Anemiaceae. She is also interested in general botany, taxonomic identification of specimens, field collecting, scientific illustration, and anatomical studies in general.
